Humboldt Youth Council

Posted August 28, 2017

The City of Humboldt is proud to launch the Humboldt Youth Council this fall. The Humboldt Youth Council is a municipal initiative that seeks to engage youth in the Humboldt community and teach students about local municipal governance. Students who wish to join must be in either Grade 8, 9, or 10 and attend a local Humboldt school: St. Augustine, St. Dominic, Humboldt Public School, HCI or are home-schooled!. Students will meet monthly starting from October to June to learn more about their local government, as well as to discuss issues or concerns that they may have. Click here for the official media release for the program. Application deadline is September 30!
