An Introduction to Voyent Alert! 

In times of crisis it is important that residents have access to trusted, timely and accurate information in order to ensure their own safety and that of their family and loved ones.   In response to this need, the City of Humboldt and Humboldt Fire and Rescue have chosen Voyent Alert! as our communication service provider for these kinds of events.

Voyent Alert! is a multi-purpose communication service specifically designed to meet the needs of communities like ours.  The service can be used not only for notifying you of critical events like fire or flood but also for relevant day-to-day communications such as snow removal advisories, planned maintenance, street blockages, 311 community reporting services etc. 

Registration for the service is FREE, simple and totally anonymous.

To register either:

  1. download and install the Voyent Alert! app from the Apple or Google Play app stores or
  2. alternatively, you can register on-line to receive email or text-based alerts at https://voyent-alert.com/ca/trial-registration/
