FOR PROPOSED ZONING BYLAW AMENDMENT
Public Notice is hereby given that the City of Humboldt, pursuant to Section 207 of the Planning and Development Act, 2007, intends to consider adopting a bylaw to amend Bylaw No. 04/2016, known as the Zoning Bylaw.
The reason for this proposed amendment is to allow cannabis retail stores as a discretionary use within most commercial and industrial zoning districts while requiring a minimum separation distance of 150 meters from schools and other cannabis retail stores.
Discretionary uses are those which may be approved or refused at the discretion of City Council.
This Bylaw may be inspected by interested persons at the City Hall on any judicial day between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Interested Citizens may appear before Council at the Public Hearing to Speak on the Proposed bylaw.
