Protective Services

Our Protective Services are dedicated to ensure we are all safe. They are on the front lines in any emergency or when a disaster strikes. They do all that they can to educate the public at large on how everyone can do their part to help ensure that Humboldt’s homes, businesses, neighbourhoods, streets and recreation areas are safe and secure.

The Director of Protective Services oversees the Humboldt Fire Department, Bylaw Enforcement, Building Standards and Inspections, EMO Preparedness, and serves as the liaison with our local RCMP Detachment.

Community safety is a priority within our department, whether it’s a Bylaw violation or illegal activity in your neighbourhood. If you have a non-emergency safety concern that you would like to report, click here and let us know about it.

If you feel you or someone else may be in danger, call 9-1-1 immediately.
