100 Block of 5th Street Watermain Break - REPAIRED & ADVISORY LIFTED

Posted April 11, 2017

UPDATE: The watermain break was repaired on April 12.

The Drinking Water Advisory for affected residents on 5th Street and 6th Street has been lifted and is no longer in effect.  The water has been tested and is safe to consume.

A watermain break was discovered on the 100 Block of 5th Street - crews were required to shut down water service to this block to address the break.  Some residents along the 100 Block of 6th Street may also be affected.

Repairs will take place on Wednesday, April 12.

Affected residents will receive a YELLOW door hanger notification, indicating what to do during a drinking water advisory.  Those affected by this break may also take personal water jugs and/or pails to the UNIPLEX to access clean, safe water - at no cost - until the drinking water advisory is lifted.

When the repair has been made and water samples have been tested for safe consumption, GREEN door hanger notifications will be delivered to affected residents.

Updates will be posted at and through the Humboldt Connect app. Residents may also call City Hall at (306) 682-2525 with any questions.

Thank you for your patience.
